3 week yoga retreat reviews 2019 how to#
However where I feel you helped me the most is learning how to teach effectively. As a physiotherapist this point sounds to me very important! In the training teachers give their great awareness about alignment that is detailed throughout their training which I loved as it protects the physical body from injury. I’m blessed, grateful and extremely content with where I am right now, inspired to stay present and continue learning.

One month after the training I taught my first class in the Philippines where I’m still teaching yoga one class a day. It does take a lot of courage but it feels incredible to finally find the path that I am supposed to be on. I found myself travelling around the world far away from the corporate world towards the dream of becoming a yoga teacher. The amount of informations we absorbed is really mindblowing and the course 200 hours in three weeks was rigorous and demanding. I was exciting to practice so intensively and to feel my body get stronger and more able each day. Aside from the beautiful surroundings, cosy yoga studios, lovely atmosphere, comfortable dorm room, phenomenal food and the amazing wellbeing massage that they gave us I was so impressed with the structure and content of the course. I would like to say thank you to the whole Mana team (teachers, owners, manager and staff) for the wonderful experience I had on the yoga teacher training (Vinyasa Flow). We don’t smoke and prefer not to inhale passive smoke either.Īpart from this our stay at Mana Yoga Retreat was just what we needed, pure relaxation, a perfect way to start our holiday. The only negative that I would mention is that smoking is permitted at Mana, in the dining/cafe space, it just seems ironic that a facility with an overall emphasis on health and well being would allow such a known health risk. We did yoga classes with Anton and Kate, both are wonderful instructors and we’ve left feeling a lot looser. Staff are really pleasant, breakfast was good and although there is a great menu for lunch and dinner, Mana is an easy walk into the main Kuta precinct where there are plenty of dining options. The room was beautiful, bed was super comfortable, air con worked well, has a great outdoor bathroom and a nice verandah looking over the pool. We stayed in a cabana, special thanks to the kindness and consideration of management.

It is a real sanctuary centrally located in Kuta Lombok. My husband and I have just spent 3 nights unwinding at this divine retreat.
